Description

Alpha — Premium T1 Carnauba Hybrid Wax

Product overview

Alpha combines a premium T1 carnauba fraction with high‑grade synthetic waxes to deliver an advanced finishing wax that produces deep, high‑gloss optics and durable hydrophobic behaviour. The hybrid matrix is formulated to enhance colour saturation and surface clarity while providing sacrificial protection against light contaminants and environmental fallout. Under normal conditions, Alpha’s protective layer maintains aesthetic and water‑shedding properties for up to three months.

Performance characteristics

– Deep, wet‑look gloss and enhanced colour saturation from high‑quality T1 carnauba

– Improved durability and weather resistance through blended synthetic wax binders

– Hydrophobic surface behaviour that promotes water beading and easier maintenance

– User‑friendly application with predictable leveling and burn‑off characteristics when used per instructions

Surface preparation

– Thorough substrate preparation is essential. Wash and fully decontaminate the paint surface (clay bar, tar removal and isopropyl/alcohol wipe if necessary) to ensure intimate contact between Alpha and the clearcoat. Any remaining contamination will impair adhesion, appearance and longevity.

Application procedure

1. Pad loading: If using a foam applicator, lightly load the pad by inserting and rotating it in the wax pot approximately one quarter turn so the applicator face is evenly coated.

2. Work method: Apply Alpha sparingly — a small quantity provides full coverage. Use small, even, overlapping strokes and work one panel at a time to maintain wet‑edge control.

3. Panel rotation: After coating a panel, proceed to the adjacent panel so the initial application can begin to set; return to the first panel and buff once the product has begun to haze according to ambient conditions. Continue this panel‑by‑panel rotation until the entire vehicle is complete.

4. Buffing: Use a clean, plush microfibre towel to remove residue and reveal gloss. Replace towels as they become saturated to avoid smearing.

Re‑coating and remedial actions

– Secondary coat: If additional durability is desired, a second coat may be applied 3–4 hours after the initial application, provided the first layer has sufficiently set.

– Secondary haze: Excessive application or allowing Alpha to over‑cure on the surface can produce a tenacious secondary haze that is more difficult to remove. If this occurs, remove residues with a light spray detailer such as Comet Quick Detailer and a clean microfibre, then re‑buff.

Environmental and application limits

– Recommended ambient application range: 5° C to 25° C. Do not apply on hot panels or in direct sunlight. Temperatures outside this window may cause under‑curing or over‑curing, compromising film appearance and longevity.

Storage and safety

– Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed when not in use and follow standard precautions as indicated on the product Safety Data Sheet.

Compatibility

– Compatible with standard OEM clearcoats and most ceramic coatings when used as a maintenance wax; perform a small‑area compatibility test when treating unconventional or recently applied coatings.

Packaging

– Available in retail and trade sizes. Follow label instructions for handling and disposal
