Description
Nuclear — High‑Alkalinity Concentrated Snow Foam (pH ~13)
Product overview
Nuclear is an ultra‑concentrated, high‑alkalinity snow foam engineered to rapidly break down entrenched soils on heavily contaminated vehicles. With an alkaline pH of approximately 13, its powerful surfactant and detergent system emulsifies road film, organic deposits, grease, oil, insect residue and heavy traffic film, while a dense, clingy foam structure maximises dwell time and cleaning efficacy on vertical surfaces.
Key performance characteristics
– High‑pH cleaning power: strong alkaline chemistry (≈ pH 13) accelerates saponification of oils and dispersion of stubborn organic soils for effective, low‑effort removal.
– Thick, cling‑optimised foam: formulation produces a persistent foam blanket that increases contact time and improves contaminant lift.
– Tunable strength: dilution adjustments allow the user to protect existing waxes/sealants or intentionally remove them when deeper decontamination is required.
– Economical concentration: super‑concentrated formula for flexible dosing across varying levels of soiling and equipment types.
Dilution and use guidance
– General thick foam (1 L foam cannon reservoir): add 100 mL Nuclear (1:10) for a dense, clingy foam.
– Lighter foam / reduced alkalinity: decrease product volume in the reservoir to reduce foam viscosity and lower overall alkalinity exposure to finished protections.
– Aggressive decontamination / strip mode: increase concentration (use a higher product proportion) to actively remove residual waxes, sealants or heavy traffic film. Note: higher concentrations increase the risk of stripping existing protections and may require follow‑up polishing or re‑protection.
– Application technique: apply snow foam working from the lower panels upward. Allow sufficient dwell for the foam to react and lift soils, then rinse thoroughly before proceeding to hand‑wash or drying. Do not allow the foam to dry on the surface.
Operational recommendations
– Pre‑rinse to remove loose grit and reduce risk of marring during subsequent agitation.
– For best results on heavily soiled vehicles, follow with a two‑bucket hand wash or extraction after foam and rinse.
– Adjust dilution empirically for your foam cannon, pump pressure and water hardness to optimise foam quality.
Safety, precautions and substrate compatibility
– High alkalinity hazard: with a pH around 13, Nuclear is strongly alkaline and requires appropriate personal protective equipment (chemical‑resistant gloves, eye protection and adequate ventilation). Avoid skin or eye contact; in case of contact, rinse immediately and seek medical advice.
– Surface limitations: avoid use on sensitive materials (unsealed rubber, certain plastics, anodised or soft lacquered finishes) without prior spot testing. Extended dwell or high concentrations can strip protective coatings or affect trim.
– Temperature and drying: use in shaded, cool conditions and avoid application on hot panels; do not allow the product to dry on the vehicle. Rinse thoroughly.
– Environmental and disposal: follow local regulations for disposal of wash water and contaminated materials. Do not discharge concentrated product to drains.
Warnings
– Although not designed specifically as a coating stripper, Nuclear can remove waxes and sealants when used at higher concentrations or left to dwell; always test and adjust dilution to the desired outcome.
– Keep out of reach of children. Consult the Safety Data Sheet for full health, safety and first‑aid information.
Storage
– Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep container upright and tightly closed when not in use.
